There’s a word that has been keeping me awake at night for months now. A word that God has been impressing upon my heart with increasing urgency. That word is narratives.
As I’ve wrestled with this revelation, I’ve come to understand something profound: the kingdom of God is missing something critical in this end time. We have the truth, we have the Gospel, we have the wisdom and power of God, but we’re not engaging in the battle that’s raging all around us. It’s a battle for the minds and hearts of this generation, and it’s being fought through stories, ideas, and the spread of knowledge.
Knowledge Is Increasing, But Whose Knowledge?
The prophet Daniel spoke these words centuries ago: “In the end time, knowledge shall increase.” For years, many have interpreted this prophecy as referring solely to spiritual knowledge, but I believe we’ve been missing the full picture. Daniel was speaking about both spiritual and physical knowledge.
Look around you today. Knowledge is exploding at an unprecedented rate. Information doubles every few years. We have access to more data, more research, more discoveries than any generation in human history. Daniel’s prophecy is unfolding before our eyes.
But here’s the question that should trouble every kingdom ambassador: In all this increase of knowledge, is the knowledge of the kingdom taking root? Is the truth of Christ shaping the minds of this generation, or are other narratives winning the day?
The Pattern of Evil Through the Ages
Throughout history, every generation has witnessed greater darkness than the one before. Why is this pattern so consistent?
The answer lies in Genesis. Evil came from knowledge. Remember the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? The increase of evil in our age is not accidental. People keep increasing in knowledge, but that knowledge lacks a foundation. It’s knowledge without roots in the truth, knowledge disconnected from Christ.
We see the devastating results everywhere.
- Education without God produces intelligent fools.
- Science without truth breeds pride and destruction.
- Psychology without biblical truth leads to confusion.
- Business without kingdom principles creates exploitation and greed.
The knowledge is there, growing exponentially, but it’s building on sand rather than the Rock.
The Battle Raging All Around Us
Make no mistake, we are in a war. It’s a battle of narratives, and the stakes couldn’t be higher.
The enemy is expanding his influence through systems, and those systems are birthed through knowledge. He understands something that too many believers have missed: whoever controls the narrative controls the culture. Whoever tells the most compelling story shapes the worldview of the next generation.
Look at the landscape around you. Everyone is trying to tell a story.
- Hollywood producers craft narratives that shape how millions view relationships, morality, and purpose.
- Politicians spin stories to win hearts and votes.
- Educators embed narratives into curricula, forming young minds.
- Business leaders create brand stories that define value and success.
- Even preachers, when they step into the pulpit, are telling a story.
The question we must ask ourselves is this: What story are we telling as kingdom ambassadors?
This isn’t about Sunday morning sermons alone. God called us to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth. That calling extends into every sphere of influence where God has placed us. What narrative are you advancing in your workplace? In your community? In your online presence? Through your creative work?
If you trace your beliefs back far enough, you’ll discover they came from narratives. Someone told you a story, and you believed it. That story became part of how you see the world. This is why the battle for narratives matters so much. The stories we believe determine how we live, what we value, and what kind of world we build.
Our Sacred Responsibility
The time for passive Christianity is over. We need to fight, and our weapon is the Word of God. But we must learn to wield it in new ways.
We need to start speaking directly to society, to politics, to culture, to education, to business, to entertainment, to technology, to every aspect of human existence.
Cephas Alokan
When the world discusses justice, we should have a biblical perspective to offer. When culture debates gender and identity, we must articulate God’s design with clarity and compassion. When politicians make decisions about the future, kingdom voices should be contributing wisdom.
The truth must be established in every sphere, and that happens through the faithful, persistent, creative proclamation of God’s Word in ways that connect with real people facing real issues.
Why This Platform Exists
When God began showing me the urgent need for kingdom narratives, especially in Nigeria and across Africa, I knew something had to be done. This platform was born from that vision. It exists because the battle for narratives is too important to ignore, and the kingdom of God needs voices speaking truth into the public square.
Every article you find here serves a purpose beyond merely explaining Scripture. We want to show you biblical truth, inform you about what’s happening in our world, orientate you toward God’s perspective on contemporary issues, enlighten you with wisdom that transforms how you think, and equip you to carry the same message to the ends of the earth.
The Invitation
The kingdom of God is not passive. It advances through the courageous proclamation of truth in every generation. In this age of information overload and competing narratives, we cannot afford to be silent.
If you want to contribute your voice to this movement, we would love to hear from you. This is not a one-person mission. It’s a kingdom movement, and every believer who understands the times has a role to play.
The battle for narratives is happening now. The question is: will you join the fight?
Will you become someone who doesn’t just consume content but creates it? Will you learn to articulate the truth of Scripture in ways that speak to the real issues people face? Will you let the knowledge of Christ flow through you into your sphere of influence?
The time to speak is now. The kingdom is counting on voices like yours.
